Carolyn has more time to bake for the grandkids

Friends and colleagues gathered to pay a special farewell to Carolyn Anderson, who retired after a remarkable 41 years’ service.

The medical secretary, who was based within the urology department at Hairmyres Hospital, began her career at Glasgow’s Sick Kids Hospital. Following posts at Glasgow’s Victoria Infirmary and Phillipshill Hospital, Carolyn secured employment at Hairmyres Hospital where she remained until her retirement.

In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys baking, spending time with her grandchildren, walking her dog and holidaying abroad.

Colleagues within the urology office at Hairmyres Hospital will miss Carolyn and would like to wish her all the best for the future.
