‘Tackling Fuel Poverty Together’ training and networking event

Do you work with vulnerable householders who are struggling to heat their homes and pay their fuel bills? Home Energy Scotland’s community liaison team will run a free training and networking event to inspire people and organisations across Lanarkshire to work in partnership to tackle the challenge of expensive energy bills.

The training will take a solutions-focused approach to addressing fuel poverty. It will look at fuel poverty on both a local and national level and help identify households in need of support.

The events will be held as follows:

  • Wednesday 16 August, Newmains Community Trust Centre, 15 Manse Road, Newmains, Wishaw, 9.30am-12.30pm
  • Tuesday, 19 September, The Albany Learning and Conference Centre, 44 Ashley Street, Glasgow, 9.30am–12.30pm

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. To book a place, please click here.
