An online survey is being conducted on behalf of Cancer Research UK, by the Centre for Health Services Studies at the University of Kent.

The purpose of the survey is to work with healthcare professionals to investigate what enables them to become more involved in clinical research, with a specific focus on what drivers and incentives support research activity and capacity.

Cancer Research UK is also interested in identifying what priority is given and how research engagement is supported by your organisation. The survey findings will support Cancer Research UK to provide practical solutions that can build capacity to improve research activity in the NHS.

A report will be prepared, which will include the overall survey findings and CHSS will provide feedback to each health board with information specific to their own organisation, as well as the national picture.

Participants will not be identifiable in any report/publication.
