Elspeth Moffat retires after 32 years service
After 32 years service, administration assistant Elspeth Moffat retired from NHS Lanarkshire in May.
Elspeth, who was attached to the Property and Support Service Division (PSSD) at Law House, Carluke, joined NHS Lanarkshire in 1983 where she was appointed to manpower services, medical records at Law Hospital.
In 1984, Elspeth joined the supplies department and, through promotion, became supervisor in 1988.
In 1999 Elspeth moved to supplies headquarters in Bellshill before transferring to Centrum Park then Strathclyde Hospital.
Elspeth took up the post of administration assistant with PSSD at Law House in 2008 where she provided support to David Browning and latterly Robert Spencer, a role in which she remained until her retirement.
Elspeth lives in Law with her husband John. They have a daughter Laura (37), granddaughter Abby (8) and grandson Mark (6).
In her spare time Elspeth enjoys going to the gym and walking her dogs.
Following her retirement, Elspeth is looking forward to looking after her grandchildren, regular visits to the gym and catching up with ex-colleague and friend Linda Stark who also recently retired.
