It is fair to say that there has been only one story which has dominated the headlines in Lanarkshire – and indeed much of the Scottish and UK media – this week.
The news that nurse Pauline McCafferkey had to be readmitted to hospital following a complication with the Ebola she was treated for earlier this year, was widely covered.
Some of the reporting, particularly from some of the national newspapers, was more sensationalist than others. However, by and large the local papers in Lanarkshire reported it in a matter of fact manner.
It goes without saying, that everyone in NHS Lanarkshire wishes Pauline a full and speedy recovery.
