A consistent approach
The review of school nursing teams in North Lanarkshire continues.
The new service model – which started in August – offers an opportunity to build on the experience of school nurses and enable them to assist in the on-going development of their practice.
The review has already identified that while there is good practice in the service, improvements could be made to ensure it is applied more consistently across all school nursing teams.
The redesign of the service will ensure the service:
- builds on and shares good practice
- implements the key components of the national School Nursing Review
- ensures children see the right clinician at the right time
