Book your place on next challenge

NHS Lanarkshire has earned bronze in a reading challenge and also received the milestone 100th award from the organisers.

The Six Book Challenge, run throughout the UK by the Reading Agency, encouraged people who don’t often read to delve into six books over six months.

In its first year of participation, NHS Lanarkshire has been given a bronze award for signing up 50 or more staff to take part.

Thoughts are already turning to next year’s challenge, which has been rebranded as Reading Ahead.

It will be launched on 22 February and will again involve six reads in six months.

To sign up, staff can contact libraries@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk, call 01698 366316 or drop in to any one of NHS Lanarkshire’s libraries.

All staff are welcome . Why not sign up as a team?
