Combating antibiotic resistance – new app for decision support

NHS Education for Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland and the Scottish Antimicrobial Prescribing Group have recently launched a new mobile app to provide decision support for antimicrobial prescribing – with the ultimate aim of combating antibiotic resistance.
It is hoped this app will be a welcome development, as improving antibiotic prescribing is a top NHS priority.
