It was ‘One of these nights’ as Hotel Caledonia, Scotland’s Eagles tribute act recently performed to a delighted crowd at the Cambusnethan Club, Wishaw.

The event was held in aid of The Haven, a charity located in the grounds of University Hospital Wishaw which offers support to individuals, families and carers affected by life-limiting illness. The crowd of over 150, were treated to a great set list of The Eagles biggest hits.

With various raffles and fundraising games on the night, the event raised an incredible £2500 which will go directly to supporting people in the local community.

The Haven offers a programme of support designed to help individuals cope with the physical, emotional and practical aspects of their illness and to enable them, their family and carers to face the future with hope.  Support is provided through a wide range of services, for example, one-to-one nurse sessions, relaxation groups, men’s groups, bereavement support or one-to-one complementary therapies.
