Fantastic and spacious Lincludden centre opens

Lincluden Medical Centre in Uddingston has opened the doors on a brand new surgery.
The new building, which has been funded by NHS Lanarkshire, was open to patients on 16 July and official opened by NHS Lanarkshire Chair Neena Mahal on 20 August.
Practice manager Neil Doherty said: “The whole process has been a number of years in the making, and we’re delighted that it has finally reached a conclusion. The new premises will allow us to provide a better service to our 7,800 patients in the local area. It looks fantastic and is more spacious.”
The new surgery significantly increases the space available to develop specialised clinics and increase appointment times to improve access for patients in a way that was not possible at the old surgery in 53 Bellshill Road.
It also allows the surgery to meet the needs of its growing list size and future population growth in Uddingston.
Seven GPs, four nurses and ten support staff are based at the new centre. The telephone number remains the same: 01698 813873.
