Festive shopping fun for The Haven

Come along and support The Haven charity, who have a centre at Wishaw General, at their annual Christmas Shopping Extravaganza.
The event is on Sunday, October 29 in the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, Strathclyde Business Park, between noon and 4pm.
Enjoy an afternoon of shopping in warm, comfortable surroundings where you will find over 25 stalls, selling unique goods, many of which cannot be bought on the high street. There will also be a kiddies’ corner with some fun crafts and activities on offer.
Lynsay Cooper, Haven communications officer, said: “We would love to see as many people coming along to this afternoon as possible. This festive fundraiser will help support families across Lanarkshire who have been affected by the diagnosis of a life-limiting illness. The vital funds raised will enable The Haven to continue to offer emotional support to individuals, their families and carers through a wide range of services.
“A Haven client shares in their own words what The Haven means to them: ‘The genuine openness and support you get and the friendliness of the people involved in caring and supporting people affected my illness is second to none. The Haven is a lifeline to many’.”
The tickets are only £5 and can be bought at any Haven centre or by calling 01698 727886 to reserve tickets or by paying at the door on the day. Each person will receive a welcome drink and entry into a mystery prize draw.
