Flu Clinics – w/b 8 October

Flu clinics

Staff are being invited to receive their free flu vaccine.

The vaccine is safe and cannot give you flu.

By getting the flu vaccine, you are reducing the risk of getting the flu virus yourself. You are also reducing the risk of affecting your family, colleagues and patients.

Next week, flu vaccination clinics will be held at the following locations:

Beckford Lodge, Beckford Street, Carluke Community Health Centre, Douglas Street Community Health Clinic, Kello Hospital, Ladyhome Hospital, Lanark Health Centre, Law House, Stonehouse Hospital, Udston Hospital, University Hospital Hairmyres, University Hospital Monklands and University Hospital Wishaw.

Full details of clinic times can be found on FirstPort.

Get the flu jab and win!

NHS Lanarkshire’s flu prize draw will return this year.
For the second year, staff who get the flu jab will be included in a free prize draw which includes cash prizes.
The lucky winners will be randomly selected from among the staff who have had their flu jab when the totalizer reaches key milestones.
Staff in hospitals, GP practices, pharmacies, dental surgeries and other NHS Lanarkshire sites are encouraged to get the vaccine annually as it provides the best defence against flu.
For your chance of winning, get your flu jab now.
Visit FirstPort for the full vaccination schedule which gives information on clinics, locations, dates and times.
