Glasgow Pride - Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 July

Glasgow Pride will take place at Kelvingrove Park, Glasgow on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 July.

Staff wishing to attend the event (on Saturday 14 July) on behalf of NHS Lanarkshire can join the NHS Scotland Pride group.

The parade will start at Clyde Place and make its way through the City Centre to Kelvingrove Park where the Pride Glasgow festival will take place. The front of the march will reach the park by approximately 1.30pm although the NHS Scotland group may take slightly longer to reach there.

The group will be in the yellow section, position number 11.  This is a section for the whole of the NHS Scotland group.  It will also be joined by an SAS ambulance.  At Clyde Place there will be a yellow placard on the lamppost to guide you.

NHS Scotland group stewards will be identified in hi-viz vests – if you have any issues on the day, please speak to them or a Pride Glasgow steward, who will be wearing blue t-shirts.  There will be one steward for every five walking group members and spread out on both sides of the NHS block.

Pride Glasgow has asked participants to be there for 11.15am. The closest train station to the march starting point is Glasgow Central.

If you have any problems finding the correct meeting point, please contact Carole Anderson, head of strategy and performance, Golden Jubilee Foundation, on 07754876702.
