There were smiles all round as it was announced a project to replace Monklands Hospital is now in the planning stages. The news was highlighted in the Hamilton Advertiser, Bellshill Speaker, Cumbernauld News & Kilsyth Chronicle and Airdrie & Coatbridge Advertiser.

The Evening Times told how Wishaw General breastfeeding support service assistant Leigh-Ann Johnstone won a prestigious national award for the support she gives to families with sick and vulnerable babies.
