Joint inspection of health and social work services for older people in South Lanarkshire survey

Joint inspection of health and social work services for older people in South Lanarkshire survey

The Care Inspectorate and Healthcare Improvement Scotland will undertake a multi-agency inspection of adult and older people’s services in South Lanarkshire from September.

As part of the inspection, all NHS Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire Council staff who work directly or indirectly with older people are being asked to complete an online survey.

The survey, which opened on 10 August, provides an opportunity for staff to have a direct input into the inspection process.

All relevant staff have been contacted directly about the survey which is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SthLanSurvey

The purpose of the inspection is to assess how well the services in the relevant partner agencies are working together to improve the lives of adults and older people, identify good practice, as well as areas that can be further improved.

A staff information bulletin, is also available at http://staff information bulletin which explains the inspection in more detail.

For further information on the inspection, contact Marjorie McGinty, programme manager for multi-agency inspection of adult and older peoples services, on 01698 858343.
