Kilbryde Hospice celebrates Parkinson’s awareness week

As part of Parkinson’s Awareness Week (10-16 April), Kilbryde Hospice will hold a ‘Big Sing for Parkinson’s’ event on Wednesday 12 April from 1.30pm to 2.30pm at its premises within the grounds of Hairmyres Hospital, East Kilbride.
The Kilbryde Community Choir will give a performance to allow those attending to experience the many benefits of singing together, including improved breathing, posture and self confidence and, for some, a strengthening of the voice.
The fun-filled hour of music will be led by music therapist, Anna Ludwig.
