Launch of Healthy Working Lives staff health and well-being survey

NHS Lanarkshire’s Healthy Working Lives (HWL) staff health and well-being survey will launch on 4 November.
Results from the 2016 survey showed that 80 per cent of staff were not meeting current physical activity recommendations and wanted more opportunities to be more active more often at work. In response, HWL created the Big Team Walking Challenge across NHS Lanarkshire – some staff even won Fitbits and lost weight as a result of taking part.
In May, 1180 staff members walked virtually from Vienna to Paris – where will the next walking challenge take us? Tell us what you think.
The survey will take five minutes to complete and will ask questions on health, safety and physical and mental well-being in the workplace. It will influence what HWL develops for staff to make NHS Lanarkshire a safer, healthier and more motivated workforce.
Look out for more information on how to access the survey and be in with a chance to win a prize.
