National Digital Maturity Assessment (DAM) Survey

Digital Health Survey Pulse Online

As part of the national ‘Digital Maturity of Health and Social Care Services in Scotland’ programme, NHS Lanarkshire will participate in an exercise to assess its own level of digital maturity.

The exercise relates to the 2018 publication by the Scottish Government – in partnership with COSLA and NHS Scotland – of the strategy Scotland’s Digital Health and Care Strategy: Enabling, Connecting and Empowering’.  This sets out Scotland’s vision for how health, social care and well-being services can be enhanced and transformed through the use of digital technology.  The aim being to digitally empower the people of Scotland to better manage their health and well-being, to live independently, and in accessing health and care services, make as much use of online resources as is practically possible.

However, there is limited insight – nationally and locally – about the level of readiness for digital transformation in health and social care services.  In response to this, the Scottish Government has developed an assessment framework which combines a general staff survey with an online assessment tool.

Therefore, depending on how closely engaged you are with the digital service offering, the digital maturity assessment (DMA) team will extend an invite to access the online assessment tool designed to tease out particular details of the current digital services available within NHS Lanarkshire.  In parallel, all staff will be able to participate in an entirely anonymised survey designed to reaffirm, or otherwise, the responses obtained through the assessment tool route.

Whilst both the assessment tool and survey have their own help function, please do not hesitate if you have any questions or require further guidance by emailing Eilish.Young@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk or Colin.Graham@lanarkshire.scot.nhs.uk

Your assistance with this initiative is very much appreciated.

Please note that surveys submitted after 21 June will not be considered.
