New peer support group for primary care staff

Have you joined NHS Lanarkshire in the past two years to help implement the new General Medical Services 2018 contract? Do you want to ‘grow your career in Lanarkshire’? Then a new peer support group could be for you.
NHS Lanarkshire is looking for 18 people from teams across primary care to come together to create two facilitated, mutually supportive learning groups. Ultimately, it is hoped that group members will feel more embedded in the wider team and have the informal network to ‘phone a friend’ from a different professional group, if they need advice or support.
It is known that those who regularly share experiences from their own professional practice in a supportive environment are more likely to strengthen their own resilience and that of their wider teams.
