Quality Week – NCEPOD (the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death)
NCEPOD (the National Confidential Enquiry into Patient Outcome and Death) undertakes reviews into the quality of care provided to medical and surgical patients and to children as well as adults. HQIP on behalf of the Scottish Government, and the other Governments, commission NCEPOD to run two ‘Clinical Outcome Review Programmes’.

However, with changes in the organisations and work programmes, Scottish participation is now requested. This does mean that many people are unfamiliar with NCEPOD or the work they do.
Marisa Mason, CEO, will come and explain about the structure of the work programmes, the method, current studies and to find out how NCEPOD could help us.
