Recording of Pressure Ulcers on Datix – Change 12th November
To ensure NHSL can accurately identify, record and report on both hospital and community acquired pressure ulcer, a new Datix Pressure Ulcer Form has been devised. With effect from 12th November 2017 all pressure ulcers should be recorded using the new Datix Pressure Ulcer Form and not the general Datix adverse event form. The form can be found on Firstport – Applications – Datix Pressure Ulcer.
To support staff with this new process, there will be guidance documents available to assist in recording and reporting. The guidance will be available from 12th November on the Tissue Viability Service Firstport page and includes.
