Retirement of Jim Martin

After 18 years service, physiotherapy services manager Jim Martin retired in March.
Jim, who was based at Hairmyres Hospital, has worked in various locations throughout his career including Monklands, Ruchill, Gartnavel and latterly Hairmyres Hospital. Jim has also previously worked as a physio for various football teams and on the sets of some blockbuster films.
Jim’s main hobby is golf. He has family in London and Perth, Australia.
Senior healthcare support worker Frances McArdle said: “Jim was a manager with a difference who was always there for his staff…but never allowed a half day for Christmas shopping!“.
