Support Marie Curie this March
Marie Curie offers care and support to people living with a terminal illness. In Lanarkshire, there are 61 nurses working 24/7 to provide hands-on care and emotional support to people in the local area.
During March, Marie Curie will launch its annual Great Daffodil Appeal to raise awareness of their work. This year, ‘every daffodil counts’ is the message being used in order to encourage people to buy a daffodil pin in support of Marie Curie nurses.
Supermarket collections will take place in Hamilton, at Morrisons on Sunday 12 March and in Lanark on Friday 10 March and Marie Curie would welcome any volunteers to help with the collections. If any staff member can give a couple of hours of their time, please contact Georgia Ramplin, community fundraiser, on 0131 561 3929 or visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil
