Xercise4Less to offer £1 per month memberships for all NHS Lanarkshire staff

Leading budget gym operator Xercise4Less have announced today the launch of a new initiative to help NHS Lanarkshire employees stay fit.

As of the 18 April, the popular gym chain will offer all NHS Scotland staff members a £1 per month gym membership for a year. The promotion is available from the 18 – 24 April and there will be no admin fee to join.

Chief Executive Officer at Xercise4Less Jon Wright commented; “The NHS is a great, beloved British institution and their hard working professionals often work tirelessly and thanklessly to help those in need.

“We wanted to take this opportunity to give something back and leave a working legacy from the success we have enjoyed, to say thank you to hard working professionals of the NHS while encouraging them to embrace a healthier lifestyle.”

Emma Quinn, NHS Staff Benefits Marketing Manager commented; “We’re committed to offering a substantial employee benefit programme to NHS Staff, seeking out exciting deals and offers. In particular we are enthusiastic about working with clients which offer staff the tools to improve their health and wellbeing. When we were approached by Xercise4Less to offer NHS staff such a significant saving on the costs of an annual gym membership, we knew it was something which we should promote and encourage them to take advantage of.”

This offer is only available through www.nhsstaffbenefits.co.uk and is only valid until the 24th of April. Staff must be able to show a valid NHS ID or payslip on their first visit to the gym to prove they qualify.

The locations which this applies to are: East Kilbride, Edinburgh, Falkirk, Glasgow, Renfrew and Hamilton.
