Team step up to challenge

Congratulations go to Team Liaison Keep On Movers who have won the first Healthy Working Lives Walk For Health Step Count Challenge in Hamilton locality.
Health improvement senior Angela Williamson said: “Over a six-week period, the team stepped up to the challenge with a total of 2,997,485 steps between them.
“That equates to 1,419 miles in total – what a fantastic achievement!
“The team, comprised of five members of staff from the mental health liaison/delayed discharge team, hosted by South East Unit, are based at Wishaw General.
“This was the first year that Hamilton locality has taken part in the Step Count Challenge and there was a fantastic response. Six teams completed with a total of 12,907,580 steps or 6,111 miles all together.
“A big thank you to everyone who took part and especially to Team Liaison Keep On Movers for their hard work and commitment.”
