Staff Awards finalists announced

The finalists in NHS Lanarkshire’s third Staff Awards have now been announced.

The awards ceremony will celebrate and recognise the achievements and excellent work of staff and volunteers and, in this special year, also commemorate the 70th anniversary of the NHS.

Calum Campbell chief executive, said: ““We have a lot of hard working and dedicated staff throughout Lanarkshire, who provide an exceptional standard of care and service on a daily basis.

“A celebration like the Staff Awards is one way we can acknowledge and recognise everything that our staff and volunteers do.

“This year we introduced some changes to the awards categories with a new category established to recognise outstanding non clinical teams and outstanding quality.

“Nominations were received from patients, carers, relatives, staff, managers and partner agencies.  The nominations covered a wide and varied number of roles departments and settings and the Judging Panel had a tough job in selecting our finalists and winners.

“I would like to congratulate those who have made it through to the finals.”
